This six-month coach education grows your skills in 1:1 support while growing YOU. Session by session, you will build the insight and skills to lead supportive conversations professionally based on Nonviolent Communication. You will learn to use yourself as a fine-tuned instrument in service of your client, and you will deepen your self-understanding and self-acceptance.

Content

  •  Three modules of each three days of six hours
  • 10 webinars of two hours
  • 1:1 peer practice
  • Seven hours of group mentoring

Is this program for you?

Are you a practitioner of Nonviolent Communication and enjoy supporting others with empathy?
Are you looking for ways to integrate NVC in your work life without the efforts of collecting groups and teaching workshops?
This training will offer you professional skills to use as self-employed or internal coach, or as an addition to what you already do at work.

Are you a health care worker, teacher, manager, consultant, mediator or in other relational fields? Do you want to expand your knowledge and skills of how to inspire others toward increased self-awareness and self-expression? Would you love to facilitate engagement and co-responsibility? This training is your direct path.

Are you an experienced coach? Would you like to integrate the NVC approach to personal development and invite more depth into your work with clients? This training furthers your journey.

Are you on the journey of self-development? Would you like to engage in a training that, in addition to offering you depth work, healing, self-confidence, and direction, equips you with professional skills? This training encompasses both.

What are the effects of this program?

Needs-Based Coaches and their clients have made difficult decisions. Stood up for themselves. Started men’s groups. Stepped proactively up at their workplaces. Replaced their jobs with independent carriers. Launched cooperatives. Started kindergartens. Invited for conferences. Found the love of their lives. Broken the silence. Stopped pleasing authorities. Replaced defensiveness with readiness for repair. And much more with the support of their coach.

The program takes you on a journey toward radical self-acceptance, finding your purpose and your voice, and connecting with other humans at a heart level, no matter how they express themselves. In turn, the clients you work with will, through your resonant accompaniment, bold and gentle questions, and your skilled guidance, get to accepting and loving themselves and finding their voice and direction in life.

Mentoring

You will coach and be coached in groups of 4-6 students, while a professional mentor will witness the coaching and offer feedback. Our mentors grow the students through drawing attention to the connecting and transformational moments and offer their best practices for the coach's problem moments.

Our graduates often share that the mentoring hours were where they found their coaching style and got to trust themselves in the coach's role.

Practice

Every week, you will meet with your practice partner(s). We support you before the practice begins so that you get into experience-building immediately. These practice pairs often develop into long-term friendships.

Between the 2nd and the third modules, we encourage our students to work with external clients. By the end of the course, they are ready to take on paid clients while continuing to reflect on their practice and meeting in self-organized or formal support networks.

The online advantage.

With coaching skills in your pouch, you can support people via the internet or phone -everywhere. As the training is fully online, you can attend it from home – or everywhere.

Clients enjoy they can prepare for their sessions at home and show up with less stress than after traveling. As a coach, you can center yourself before a coaching conversation right where you are and love to be. Furthermore, you can save time for the things that have meaning to you.

Professional accreditation

Accreditation from the International Coach Federation (ICF) is a globally recognized hallmark of quality. We will provide you with the required documentation of the training content upon course completion. In addition, the  mentoring and your practice hours in this training count toward ICF accreditation.

We are aware that the purchasing power is very different in different regions of the world. Thus, we've got three different options for payment:

Countries with a lower purchasing power (i.e. Eastern Europe, India, Soth America) € 2.250,-

Countries with higher purchasing power (i.e. North America, Western Europe) € 3.100,-

Early bird price (-10%) is available until 28th of April.

Scholarships

To support diversity and make sure our program reaches across cultural and geographical power differences, we have decided to offer three scholarships - broken into as many fractions as possible to support more people attending.

If you are interested, please explore ways to fundraise, crowdfund, commit to supporting your community or NGO after graduation, or ask for donations before contacting us. The scholarship option is very popular and there is no way we can honor all requests. Also, please tell us about how you want to use your skills and how your financial situation is.

Postgraduate community

We believe in community. Once completed the course, you're not done with us! (unless you want to). We have a large community of graduates and offer regular events and designated alumni activities. We care about your journey - also after you've got your certificate!
