This Practice Group begins with a "remembering" for inspiration, centering and connecting with ourselves. This is followed by a "check-in" when we share how we are, what we bring with us or what we hope to receive during the session. Activities include: short education exercises, empathy, role-plays, games and discussions.

Empathy and self-empathy are common themes, as well as compassionate honesty, gratitude, celebrating and mourning. NVC enables us to connect empathically with other people, and helps us
to help them to connect empathically with us. But what do you do when
you are feeling angry or upset to the extent that you don't want to
empathise with them? And they feel the same about you?! We call this
empathy collision, and on this day we will explore what is happening in
these situations and how we can get around this impasse. This day will
be practice oriented, to help you develop and rejuvenate your skill
with NVC.

These two days will apply NVC practice to coping more compassionately with depression, whether in ourselves, or in support for another.

Like all Deepening weekends it will offer an opportunity to consolidate and practice the skills learnt on the Foundation training, building fluency and sharing practical experiences of working with nvc.

Participants will also have opportunity to work further with some of the relevant NVC Dancefloors - spatial maps which allow a gradually integration of the process through experiential learning.

Due to venue size and subject matter we have chosen to offer places for just 8 participants on this Deepening.

Une journée par mois pour pratiquer la Communication NonViolente sur des sujets qui vous tiennent à cœur. Ces journées s’adressent aux personnes ayant déjà participé à deux jours d’introduction à la CNV. Le travail est orienté essentiellement vers des situations concrètes de la vie quotidienne des participants et les thèmes abordés le sont en fonction des demandes de chacun.

Learnable, practical, reliable, simple tools for sustaining conversations and bringing peace to conflict. Practice hearing through judgments to reach mutual connection. Designed for partners, parents and individuals. Space is limited to twelve participants.Advance registration suggested. $60-$40 for all three classes. No one turned away for lack of funds.

In this workshop the behaviors, concepts, and mindset of NVC will be presented and demonstrated, and opportunities provided for each individual to practice these behaviors on their own real life situations through role plays.  Initially the model is presented through lecture with examples, utilizing paper and pencil exercises so that participants may practice each step.  Much discussion occurs.  Then role plays for practice with coaching from the instructor follow.

The class occurs over two sessions, Friday, May 9 from 7pm-9:30 pm and Saturday, May 10 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  .

Nonviolent Communication är ett stöd för dig som vill lära dig kommunicera på sätt som skapar mer kontakt och mindre motstånd. Det är en kommunikationsprocess som hjälper oss att skapa en dialog där vi kan mötas i samförstånd. För den här kursen används ett digitalt klassrum där du får individuell feedback på din uppgifter. Där har du också möjlighet att dela funderingar och insikter med andra som går kursen.
Kursinnehåll: Varje vecka behandlar vi ett kapitel i boken Nonviolent Communication, ett språk för livet. Du gör övningar för att tillämpa det du lär.
Kursmoment och arbetssätt: Kursen är helt på distans, utan fasta träffar och vi möts via Internet. Du kan alltså befinna dig vart du vill så länge du har tillgång till Internet vilket innebär ett flexibelt lärande där du själv kan välja när du gör de uppgifter som följer med utbildningen.
