Examples of Observation-Need Pairings Alive re Organizing of English-Speaking Americas Circle

I am suggesting that, once we have gotten clear about our aim (e.g., sharing / spreading NVC in the Americas), it will support us in determining our next steps, to first get clear about the observations and needs that are alive for us, so we can design strategies to meet them.

Some examples of the observation-need pairs that are alive for me are:

- For people interested in learning (more) about NVC to have easy access to all events planned within a comfortable travel distance for them (Needs: awareness, ease, learning, support)

- For organizers of NVC events to be aware of other NVC events being planned in their geographic area (and/or perhaps on related topics), so that these events can be mutually supporting (Needs: awareness, mutuality and support).

- For everyone to be able to work with people they find it easy and fun to work with.  For people not to feel that they “have” to work with certain other individuals, just because they happen to live in the same city or other geographic area.  (Needs: freedom/choice, ease, fun, joy, connection, effectiveness)

- For people with similar interests (e.g., restorative justice) to be supported in connecting with one another “live” (i.e., in addition to through egroups) for mutual support and learning. (Needs: connection, mutual support, learning, effectiveness)

- For people in NVC groups to be easily able to connect with empathy buddies outside their local NVC communities (in my experience this can be an enormous support for the well-being of local communities) (Need: empathy)

- For event organizers to be supported in connecting "live" with one another to share questions, learnings, and resources; perhaps to combine their wisdom to jointly create needed resources; and to have a shared location where all of this information can be easily accessed, so that NVC promotion can be easier and more effective.  (Needs: learning, mutual support, empathy, effectiveness, joy, fun, aliveness)
