Awards Received

Valentina & Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D., with Jori Manske at the 2006 Bridge of Peace Awards, where Marshall received the Nonviolence Award. The Bridge of Peace Awards are sponsored by the Global Village Foundation. Other recipients in 2006 were Thich Nhat Hanh (Bridge of Peace Award), Marla Ruzicka (Global Peace and Justice Award), Ambassador Pete Peterson (Humanitarian Service Award) and Dr. Waqar Al-Kubaisy (Courage Award).

We are pleased that the Center for Nonviolent Communication website received the March 2002 "Parenting Site of the Month" award from The Natural Child Project, at www.naturalchild.org and were featured in their March 2002 newsletter. This meets our need for both recognition of how useful NVC can be to parents and support from others.

We are pleased that the Center for Nonviolent Communication website was selected in March 2002 as a "Learning-Success(tm) Resource" by the Learning-Success(tm) Institute, www.redp.com. We are listed on their website under Resources (communication). Our selection meets our need for recognition of the life-serving aspects of NVC.
