WELCOME TO
The Global Community Circle (GCC)

GCC Purpose: To support the NVC Global Network in connecting and self-organizing to more effectively live and share NVC
- By self-organize we mean to form, modify, dissolve and connect groups in order to meet needs - needs of group members, those the group is seeking to serve, and those affected by the group’s operation.
- For us the NVC Global Network includes members of NVC circles/groups, CNVC-Certified Trainers, NVC certification candidates, and other NVC practitioners, supporters and interested general public. (We sometimes shorten this to "network" for ease of reading.)
- Support – See GCC Projects for the ways we as a group are seeking to contribute to the network at this time. The forms of support we contribute will vary from time to time based on our understanding of needs/requests we receive and our own needs and aliveness as individuals and as a group.
CONFERENCES & COMMUNICATIONS
We organize teleconferences where you are invited to participate as an observer. Information about these teleconferences is sent to the cnvc-trainers@yahoogroups.com and nvccertificationcandidates@yahoogroups.com egroups (you do not need to be a certification candidate to join the second of these groups).
MINUTES
The GCC has held monthly teleconferences since November 2006, and has had two face-to-face meetings: the first in Munich, Germany 30 December 2007 through 2 January 2008, the second in Budapest, Hungary August 24-28, 2008.
You can read the minutes of the GCC meetings and transcripts of the first two calls between the GCC and CNVC Administrative Director Margo Pair in the following files:

YOUR INPUT / FEEDBACK
In order for all GCC members to have access to your input or feedback, we request that you use one of our input / feedback forms.
The "public" feedback form that allows your input to be seen immediately by other members of our community is at: http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=p6HBFi7KGIul-NyCT5Iqlbw . From there you can click a link to the "private" feedback form. Input submitted on the "private" form can only be seen by GCC members.
These forms are accessible from the bottom of any page of the CNVC website, by clicking “Provide input/feedback to CNVC Governance Teams”.
In addition, we invite you to work with the GCC-connected circle in your region or language to prepare and discuss proposals. Our long-term vision is that most input will reach us in this way. See below for a list of our members and the circles they represent.
MEMBERS OF THE GCC
The GCC is a team of volunteers, led by a volunteer Coordinator who is a member of the CNVC Leadership Team. The GCC also selects a representative to participate in quarterly CNVC Leadership Team Extended Forum meetings.
English is the language of communication between the members of the GCC. In addition, to facilitate communication with the network of Nonviolent Communication practitioners, a variety of languages are spoken by our various members. We have also started to include an element of geographic representation in our composition.
- Glenda Mattinson, GCC Coordinator since July 1, 2008. Member of the CNVC Leadership Team, connection to the CNVC Admin Team
