Making Life Work

For You. For Everyone. No Exceptions.

Participate in creating the world so many of us long for, a world that honors and seeks to meet the needs of everyone, that welcomes each person’s truth, that rests on faith that solutions can be found to the most challenging problems facing us, individually and collectively.

This 6-part course is for those who are concerned about our world, and that somewhere know that a different world is possible.

In the challenging times in which we live, many of us barely dare dream of this world. Miki Kashtan, who has created the course, offers the way for you to begin to integrate principles and practices that move you in the direction of making this dream a reality, starting with your own life, exactly where you are.

Self-study course and a community of practice

Two separate services make up the two components of Making Life Work. For You. For Everyone. No Exceptions; the self-study course where the curriculum is offered, and the community of practice for learning together with others and asking questions. The self-study course is created using an online course platform called teachable.

In addition to the self-study course participants can optionally sign up for the community of practice, which is created using a social communications service called Mighty Networks. This online community of practice offers a space for belonging, an opportunity for deeper insight, and the integration of learning.

Here you can ask questions of NVC practitioners called supporters. Supporters contribute their time and experience to the community of practice on a gift economy and needs-based basis. They also fulfill a level of NVC and Principle-Based Teaching experience described fully in the criteria of supporters.

Signing up for the community of practice is entirely complementary to the course, and not at all necessary to receive value from the learning of the course. We invite you to explore this resource as it feels supportive to you.

Progress starts with your willingness to risk opening to yourself in a new way: to your deepest longings, to the hearts of those who are frighteningly “other,” to the uncertainty of life without the absolutes of “right” and “wrong,” “good” and “bad.” The more people who join you in taking the first step, the nearer this world becomes.
